January 2024 - 'Young Buck'

As I've written here recently — I took almost a year
off from art for other projects and just got back into digital
painting have been enjoying a blast of creative energy!

I'm still mining old drawings from my 'real world'
sketchbooks — this one from 2019 — although I made a LOT
of changes to his head & face from that original sketch.

Though, generally, those initial sketches are just
creative concept ideas I tend to rough out quickly — and
then polish up during the digital painting process.
