'Zing - Digital Painting'

Back in 2018, I found a little Chinese
restaurant to have a bite of late lunch
in and then do some sketching.

The staff was very friendly — and when
I began to draw I attracted their attention & several
made nice comments about my sketch.

Before I left that afternoon I'd finished
my character concept I named 'Zing' and you
can find that original sketch here.

In November when I got back to
digital painting I decided to give Zing some
color and went with the minimalist,
red-ish tone you see above.
