This character began life in my sketchbook and you can
see the original sketch here and read a little about it's creation.

Once again, for this painting, I used Krita, which is an
awesome FREE digital painting software I started using recently.

I'm also using a technique called "flatting" color
layers — and " locking transparent pixels" and using
clipping — which each really speed up the painting
process not to mention making it WAY easier!

I'm now eager to use these techniques on a
LOT of my older sketches and anything new that
makes an appearance in my sketchbook.
