March 2025 - 'The Garden' - Digital Painting

After painting 'Father,' a Frazetta style
warrior with exaggerated muscles — I realized
how absolutely rusty I'm becoming when it
comes to human anatomy in my images.

Quite a while ago, I'd started today's painting
but bogged down on it because my rendering skills
had quite yet caught up to my imagination.

As with 'Father,' recently I realized I'd gather
tons of references through the years for this image —
and decided to try finishing it once again.

Now I'm looking now forward to getting back to
further honing my anatomy skills with future paintings.
