WAY back in 2014 — I started a digital "sketch" of this guy.
It was a very rough beginning, but there was something about him I liked.
I worked and worked at getting this painting to the place where I was happy
with it — but would tire of it and move onto other images.
Occasionally I would open this file and work a little more at
it — ultimately putting the final touches on it in 2016.
I call this guy
—"Doc."
